Bunka Green Maple Burl

Forged from 1095/15n20 carbon steel in a random pattern damascus. High polished finish on the steel for extra contrast. Carbon steel holds a very fine durable edge but will patina and should be dry stored when not in use. The Bunka style blade is great for processing veg while covering most tasks in the kitchen and features a concave “S-grind” to reduce surface area and improve food release. The handle wood has been stabilized in a resin to resist moisture and increase durability.
